Cataplanas
A Cataplana is a traditional copper Portuguese pan and the meal cooked in it. The hancrafted Cataplana pan is made of two shell-like copper dishes hinged together. Fish, shellfish, vegetables or meats are cooked with a little stock and/or wine according to our recipes. The Cataplana is closed, in 10-15minutes, a flavoursome healthy meal is prepared using little heat or extra water,ready to serve to the table.
